Medical Malpractice Attorney | Miami, FL (Hybrid) – $220K

Location/Schedule: Miami, FL (Hybrid)

Base Salary: $220K

Practice: Medical malpractice defense for hospitals, physicians, and healthcare providers. Aging-services and healthcare litigation sit in the same Miami office. Files go to mediation, arbitration, and jury trial.

Our client is a full-service defense firm founded in the 80's, now more than 400 attorneys. The Miami office is led by a lawyer ranked by Chambers for medical malpractice defense. The Florida malpractice group is Chambers Band 1 in North and Central Florida, and the Miami managing partner is ranked in South Florida. Headcount is close to four times what it was before COVID. The hour target is 1,800.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Defend hospitals and physicians in Miami-Dade malpractice actions.
• Coordinate experts and prepare them for deposition.
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions.
• Prepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial.

Requirements:

• JD and active Florida bar
• 3–8 years post-bar medical malpractice defense or complex civil litigation — current Associate, Counsel, or Partner
• Deposition experience; trial or hearing experience is a plus
