The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to increase sponsorship revenue, drive membership growth, launch an advocacy fund, and ensure overall organizational profitability. This executive position will work closely with the CEO, COO, and VP of Research and Public Policy to align outreach initiatives with the association’s strategic goals. This is a part-time (20 hours per week), hybrid role with in-office requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation and Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy; achieve sponsorship, membership, and fundraising revenue targets.
Provide recommendations based on market analysis and sales performance data to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends.
Drive the creation and execution of sales campaigns and sponsorship packages.
Monitor and report on sales performance, analyze metrics, and adjust strategies to maximize revenue.
Member and Sponsor Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective members, sponsors, and supporters.
Develop customized sales proposals and presentations to address member and sponsor needs.
Strategic Planning:
Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and VP of Research and Public Policy to align sales strategies with the association’s overall objectives.
Support the development of long-term strategic plans and organizational goals.

Requirements
8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership role, preferably with a trade association.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Contacts and experience working across multiple talent mobility verticals preferred (e.g., HR, immigration, moving and shipping, relocation management, tax, tech, etc.)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
